Why a wedding blog? Well in this day and age, it should seem obvious! First and foremost, there are so many little details to plan, and people keep asking us about them, so what better way than writing a blog to track all the information in one place. Secondly, we realize we’re asking a lot of our guests by requesting them to join us at a destination that is very far and difficult for many to reach. This blog will enable us to share helpful travel information with all of our friends and family as soon as we have it. Both of us hope very much that everyone we invite will be able to join us in a special place to celebrate this very important occasion in our lives, because we realize that may not be possible, we would like to share as many of our plans for this occasion as possible through this website. And maybe, just maybe, convince one or two of you that Montana is worth the trip.

We’ll be blogging about many things, mostly quick posts to jot down details as inspiration strikes us. For example, I’ve created blog subject categories for budget, accomodations, cakes, dresses, food,honeymoon, photos, pre/post-wedding events, travel, venue, weather, and wedding party concerns, among others.

You’ll notice that there are a few links in the blog sidebar already. These will tell you about us, provide information Glacier and the surrounding are, help with travel concerns, share weather details, and (eventually) allow you to RSVP. You can comment on any of these blog posts OR pages to share your own ideas or questions and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Most of all, we hope this blog can be of service to you, the reader, to help you get to know us and our wedding, for whatever reason– because you are a guest, or because you are planning your own. So welcome, and enjoy!
